ICS conducts the certification process in a manner that ensures a high degree of public trust and confidence that it is carried out impartially. ICS services are open to all organizations under the same conditions regardless of their activity, size, or headquarters. ICS decisions are based only on objective indicators of compliance with the selected norm or regulation and objective results achieved, and cannot be influenced by any other interests. ICS employees and associates do not provide consulting services to certifying organizations and avoid any conflict of interest. ICS does not audit other certification bodies, nor does it conduct internal audits in the organizations it certifies. ICS does not use the services of consulting organizations to subcontract audits. In addition to the above, ICS has established a mechanism for collecting information about consulting services from its clients. Thus, ICS ensures that audit activities do not engage a person who participated in the consultation on the introduction of the management system.
