INFORMATION
on the mandatory replacement and updating of accreditation marks on promotional and official materials
The Institute for Certification of Systems (ICS) hereby reminds and informs all its clients that, in accordance with the previously published Important Notice, ICS has ceased issuing accredited certificates bearing the mark of the Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA).
As of the aforementioned date, all accredited certificates issued by ICS bear the mark of ACCREDIA (Italian Accreditation Agency), as well as the IAF mark, in full compliance with the applicable rules of the international accreditation system. Certificates bearing the IQNet mark shall continue to be used without change, in accordance with the valid rules of the IQNet network.
In this regard, all ICS clients who, for any reason, have not yet replaced or removed the HAA mark from their:
-
promotional materials,
-
websites,
-
social media profiles,
-
offers, catalogues and letterheads,
-
internal and external documents,
are obliged to ensure compliance and to carry out the replacement of accreditation marks at the earliest possible opportunity. Any further use of the HAA mark after the expiry of the validity of the relevant certificates is not permitted and may constitute:
-
misrepresentation of accreditation status,
-
non-compliance with the rules of accreditation bodies,
-
a breach of contractual obligations arising from the certification agreement.
ICS reserves the right, within the framework of its regular surveillance activities and client communications, to request evidence of the completed alignment. Through the transfer of its accreditation to ACCREDIA, ICS further strengthens its international recognition and positions itself among the leading accredited certification bodies worldwide. For any additional clarification or technical support related to the updating of accreditation marks, clients may contact ICS through its official communication channels.
Yours faithfully,
Institute for Certification of Systems (ICS)
